    What is Zerona® Z6?

    The Zerona Z6 is a full body fat loss treatment that allows you to target areas of stubborn fat and is the first laser specifically designed for body contouring.     What areas of the body can be treated with the Zerona Z6 Fat Loss Laser?
    We have stored fat all through the body. Most of us have trouble spots where we cannot reduce fat storage. The Zerona Z6 is FDA cleared for the treatment of the overall body, which means you can treat virtually any body part. The Zerona Z6 laser has successfully decreased fat stores in the waist, chest, back, neck, arms, thighs, hips, and ankles. The treatment does not cause damage to the fat cells but instead causes  them to empty. The goal is to decrease the volume of stored fat without causing any damage to the tissue. 
    What should I expect when I come in for a treatment with the Zerona Z6 Fat Loss Laser?
    The treatments consist of 2-20 minute laser applications (20-min on front, 20-min on back).  The six laser heads are positioned around the area of the body being treated. If the abdomen is a patient’s main concern, then after a pre-treatment circumference measurement is taken, they will lay comfortably on their back on the massage table with clothes pulled up or down so the lasers do not go through any clothing layers. The heads of the laser are positioned appropriately and are turned on. All  six of the lasers are on a robotic rotation so that they cover the greatest amount of tissue possible. After the first 20 minute session is completed, the person turns over. The lasers are again positioned this time on the back and turned on. The low level laser therapy is completed after the second 20 minute treatment is done.
    Will I feel anything during the treatment?

    There is no pain associated with this treatment. Some people may feel the massaging pulse of the low level lasers.  Others say that the treatment is very relaxing. The majority of people do not feel any sensation with treatment.

     

    Are the fat cells injured with the Zerona Z6 treatments?

    There is no damage to the fat cells with the Zerona Z6 treatment. Quite the opposite is true.  Our fat cells are complex and dynamic entities that affect an astounding number of bodily functions. This endocrine organ actually supports the processes that keep us lean and assists our bodies with the following functions. It helps regulate metabolism, supports the immune system, and produces hormones and proteins. When healthy, they assist the liver in processing or removing fat and toxins and assist our muscles with blood glucose regulation. Healthy fat cells play an important role and ensure that our bodies are functioning properly. When fat cells are enlarged, they don’t produce enough of the hormone, Adiponectin, resulting in dysfunction. Without Adiponectin, the liver becomes less efficient, muscles cannot use glucose for energy, more fat gets stored, and there is an increase in blood pressure. The result is enlarged fat cells. This is where the Zerona Z6 Fat Loss Laser has helped.  Our fat is an organ which has to be cared for. With the importance of fat cells in our body’s day-to-day functioning, cutting out or killing fat cells is certainly not the answer! Liposuction and freezing techniques damage fat. Zerona Z6 Fat Loss Lasers safely penetrates fat cells, causing them to release their fatty content for safe removal from the body by the lymphatic system, while keeping the fat cells from being harmed. These cells now begin to act and function like healthy, lean fat cells again.

    What should I expect after the treatment is done?
    After the treatment is done, you will stand for 10 minutes on our VibePlate.  The vibration plate is a low platform that you will stand on to encourage movement of the lymphatic system. It is essential that you intentionally keep the lymphatic system clearing the liquid fat which has been released.  The VibePlate is the first step.  After the vibration therapy is done, you will be given water to drink.  It is of utmost importance to hydrate after the Zerona Z6 cold laser treatment!  Recommendations on other ways to keep the lymphatic system moving, on supplementation, on attainable exercise goals and on reasonable changes to the diet will be advised.  It is completely up to each individual how successful they are in keeping the inches off.  The Zerona Z6 laser treatment works.  Zerona treatments are proven effective, having undergone multiple double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials. The rest is up to you!
    Are there any other benefits to the Zerona Z6 Treatments?
    The only scientifically proven benefit to treatment with the Zerona Z6 Laser is fat loss. However, there have been other documented changes that people have had as they have gone through their treatment plans. Some clients have seen a decrease in their blood sugar and A1C levels. Others have reported a reduction in levels of the bad cholesterol and an increase in levels of good cholesterol. Positive changes in liver enzymes have been observed. Fat cells store pollutants that cause inflammation and metabolic disorders. The Zerona Z6 laser treatments allow the cells to dump contaminants which were stored in the cell so your body can detoxify, decrease inflammation, and increase metabolism. Fat cells play a role in the immune system. Keeping them healthy will help you to get and stay healthy. The most common reported benefit after a Zerona Z6 laser treatment is more energy and less brain fog.
    How many treatments will it take to see changes?
    Every person’s body is different! In as little as six treatments with the Zerona Z6 laser, people are seeing differences in fat loss and body contouring. The number of treatments a person needs will vary depending on their health goals. We will discuss each person’s treatment plan based on their need and desire. Two treatments / week are recommended for the best and quickest results. Clients in Erchonia’s clinical trial study lost an average of 3.72 inches in just 6-40 minute sessions.
